If you have an account

You can use the site without one. An account exists so you can point at your own player record and keep private notes against it.

We hold:

• Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can send what you ask for.
• A display name, if you set one.
• Which player record you have pointed your account at.
• Notes, reminders, availability, scouting lists, gear and stringing entries, and any feedback or bug reports you send. These are yours and are visible only to you, with two exceptions we name below.
• Your notification preferences, and a push token if you turn on notifications.

Two things are visible beyond you, by design, and it is worth being plain about them. Availability you set for a team can be read by other signed-in members of that team, which is the point of setting it. A note you deliberately share is readable by the address you shared it with.

Names you type in

When you log a friendly match or add someone to a scouting list, you can type a person's name. Those names are stored against your account and are visible only to you. We do not publish them, we do not use them to build a profile of that person, and they do not appear on anyone else’s page. If someone believes you have recorded them and wants that removed, the removal route below covers it.

What we measure about visits

We record anonymous usage so we can tell which parts of the site are worth keeping. A random identifier is generated in your browser and is not tied to you unless you are signed in. Alongside it we store the page you opened and a small amount of context about what you did there.

We do not store your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the site you arrived from, or anything you typed. Search terms are not kept; we record only how long a query was and whether it found anyone.

No advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party analytics, and no AI vendors. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

The public record

This is the part that is unusual, so here it is plainly. Track My Rating publishes a page for every player it can find in USTA league results: name, USTA number, city and state, published NTRP level, and match results. That information is published by USTA in its league results, which are readable without an account.

Most of the people with a page here have never used this site and never signed up for it. We publish it because a league player’s own record is difficult to see in one place and worth seeing.

On top of that record we compute our own estimate of a player’s current rating. That number is ours. It is not USTA’s rating, it is not endorsed by them, and it is labelled as an estimate everywhere it appears.

Having your page removed

If you have a page here and do not want one, write to privacy@trackmyrating.com with the name and city on the page. We will remove it and suppress that record from future updates, so it does not reappear the next time the site rebuilds. We aim to do this within seven days.

The same address works if you want something corrected rather than removed, or if you believe someone has recorded your name in a private note.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your profile, or at trackmyrating.com/delete-account. Deleting removes your email address, your player pointer, your notes, reminders, scouting lists, gear entries and notification preferences.

Two things survive, and we would rather say so than leave it vague. Your public player page is not deleted, because it is built from USTA league results rather than from anything you gave us. If you want that gone too, use the removal route above, which is a separate request. And anonymous usage records stay, with the link to your account severed, because they no longer identify anyone.

Who else touches your data

These are the only companies that process any of it, and what each one does:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and storage for the site and its data files.
• Supabase — the database holding accounts, notes and preferences.
• Resend — sends sign-in codes and the notifications you ask for.
• Expo — delivers push notifications to the app, if you turn them on.
• Apple and Google — distribute the app and carry its push notifications.

Each of them processes data on our behalf under terms that require them to provide the same or equal protection of your data as this policy states, and none of them may use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. There are no advertising networks, no data brokers, no third-party analytics and no AI vendors in that list, and adding one would change this page first.

How long we keep it

• Your account and everything in it — until you delete it. Deletion is immediate and permanent, not a thirty-day grace period.
• Usage records — 24 months, then deleted. They carry no name, no email and no IP address, and the link to your account is severed the moment you delete it.
• Sign-in codes — one hour, then they stop working.
• The public match record — for as long as it is published, because it is a historical record of league results. Removal is on request, and a removed player stays removed: we keep only the identifier needed to keep them out of future updates.
• Email you send us — feedback and support messages, 24 months.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it. Write to privacy@trackmyrating.com, or delete your account yourself at trackmyrating.com/delete-account.

If you are in California, that includes the rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale or sharing under the CCPA. We have never sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

If you are in the UK or the EU, it includes access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the UK GDPR and GDPR. Our lawful basis is your consent for the account you chose to create and for notifications you turned on, and legitimate interests for publishing a record of league results and for keeping the site working. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account or turning notifications off.

We are based in the United States and the companies above process data there, so using this service means your data is handled in the US.

This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. If you believe a child has created one, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say so on the site rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
